Tata Indicom offers IPL-related services, contests

Tata Indicom has launched a range of value added services based around the Indian Premier League (IPL), offering not only match updates but also giving subscribers a chance to win prizes by taking part in various contests.

The offer includes Know your IPL; IPL Scores; IPL Anthem; IPL Subscription Fever; IPL Dhamaka on SMS; and IPL Play and Win formats.

“Adding to the same fervour, Tata Indicom has launched a host of interesting value added services providing information about IPL to update the customers.”

IPL Subscription Fever ? Offers score updates andtrivia about the players along with match schedules and more.

IPL Dhamaka on SMS ? Offers IPL alerts on SMS and chance to win an assured prize for a free subscription for a month. One can win daily prizes of watches, weekly prizes of mobile phones and Ipod and a grand prize of IPL merchandise.

IPL Play and Win ? Tata Indicom Voice station brings a contest. One has to play this question and answer contest to score like a cricket match. The highest scores will win passes to IPL matches every week.

Willow TV, BigFlicks announce joint offer around IPL

Reliance Entertainment’s online and offline movie rental service BigFlicks.com, and Willow TV, a portal for live Internet streaming of cricket in the US, have announced a partnership for offering Indian Premier League (IPL) match viewing in the US.

The parties have announced a “Ticket to Cricket” offer. The joint offer started from 18 April, 2008 and will run until the finals of the IPL on 1 June, 2008 and will be available to all customers in the Americas.

To avail of the Ticket to Cricket offer, customers need to download/rent a movie from BigFlicks and receive a gift coupon code for watching IPL matches on Willow TV’s portal at www.willow.tv. The price for movie downloads start at $4.49.

Customers receive one gift coupon with one movie download for $4.49, three gift coupons with a movie download between $4.50- $9.99, and five gift coupons with a movie download between $10.00 - $14.99.

Customers will receive their gift coupon by email from Bigflicks.com within 24 hours of their movie purchase. The coupons may be redeemed for viewing any of the IPL matches being offered on www.willow.tv.
